These are your seven major chords. Try to strum one chord at a time strumming down towards your lap. Get familarized with each chord by sound and the position of your fingers placed on the chord. Practice each day for 1 minute a chord for your fingers to get use of it. Try not muting any of the open strings or the chord you are executing. Memory is the name of the game in learning how to play. Once you memorized each chord, you will become more familar and recognizing each chord name. It will come easy to you when playing in front of someone and you won't loose your confidence. Give your self some credit and pat yourself on the back.
Don't get fustrated!
Confusion is one thing, when learning something for the first time, we attend to loose interest because we don't understand. Let me tell you, I get confused when learning something new or learning a music score but, when this happens, I over look, hey I'm only human. Once I learn and memorize it, I have no problem playing that piece.
Any questions concerning you don't understand and need to know about something in the material, send me an e-mail.
